Zavo Pup Team!

We are walking in honor of my little boy, Zavo, who passed away from cancer on January 10, 2009. We lost Zavo's other friend Rusty in September to a prolonged bout of cancer, during which time his dad used a variety of treatments to help him in his last 6 months.

I was not aware, until this past year, just how prevalent cancer is with our canine companions, and just how few the treatments and detection methods are. I hope that you will join us in a virtual walk in memory of these unbelievable companions and also for the hope that your companions will benefit from research funded by this event.
