Critter's Crew!

To all our friends who participated in this event, Critter and I thank you.  We were the beneficiaries of all the research that went on before, so it was appropriate that we do what we could for those who face this in the future.  We don't know where the solution to Cancer will come from (for mankind or the animal kingdom), but with more eyes, working from different directions towards a common good and goal (and a little faith) we may yet overcome it.      

As many of you know, Critter is really a little miracle.  She was diagnosed with Lymphatic Cancer in May 2007 and wasn't supposed to make Christmas that year.  At this writing (April 2009) she continues to amaze her doctors.   Many times our animal friends leave us suddenly and we wish we had done things differently.  Appreciate them more.  I was lucky enough to have a second chance.  I am grateful for the times we had and continue to have, ever mindful that each day is a gift and a blessing.  The time from May 2007 to now and the time to come continue to be the best and sweetest.
